Nadal will start season in South America

Former tennis champ Rafael Nadal is planning to make his comeback on the tennis court in early February in South America. The Spaniard, who had eight months to the side because of a knee injury, will participate on February 4 in the tournament of Viña del Mar (Chile) and a week later in São Paulo, Brazil.

The 26-year-old Nadal has had to postpone his comeback a few times already. His participation in the Australian Open, which is currently under way in Melbourne, was blocked because of a stomach bug.
